IALACOLREG is an independent, free, trilingual study resource for international maritime rules. We exist because collision regulations should be clear, visual, and accessible — not locked behind paywalls or hundred-page PDFs.
Our mission
Make COLREG 1972, IALA buoyage, lights, shapes and sound signals genuinely learnable for seafarers, students and recreational skippers anywhere in the world, in their own language.
What we publish
Rule-by-rule reference aligned with the IMO COLREG 1972 text (as amended), IALA Maritime Buoyage System, and supported by interactive 3D vessel viewers and audible sound signals. We cross-reference STCW and SOLAS where relevant. We do not publish investment, legal or medical advice.
Editorial
